By accessing or using SkinMetrics ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
SkinMetrics is a price tracking and analytics platform for gaming skins across multiple marketplaces. We aggregate publicly available pricing data and provide tools for price comparison, watchlists, alerts, and AI-powered suggestions.
SkinMetrics is not a marketplace. We do not facilitate buying, selling, or trading of any items. Links to third-party marketplaces are provided for convenience only.
You must provide a valid email address and create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account or use another person's account without permission.
SkinMetrics offers Free, Starter, and Pro subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. No refunds or credits are issued for unused time within a billing period upon cancellation.
Plan upgrades: When upgrading from Starter to Pro, you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period. The upgrade takes effect immediately.
Plan downgrades: When downgrading from Pro to Starter, a prorated credit is applied to your next invoice. No cash refunds are issued for downgrades.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
AI-powered trading suggestions are available to Pro subscribers and are subject to a daily usage limit of 30 unique analyses per day. Viewing a previously analyzed item does not count toward your limit. AI analyses are cached and may not reflect real-time market changes. The daily limit resets at midnight UTC.
We reserve the right to adjust usage limits at any time to ensure fair access for all users.
Payments are processed by Polar.sh and Stripe. SkinMetrics does not store your payment card details. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize recurring monthly charges until you cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
No-refund policy: All subscription payments are non-refundable. When you cancel, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period, after which your account is downgraded to the Free tier. No partial refunds, prorated refunds, or credits are issued for cancellations.
By subscribing, you acknowledge that AI-powered features consume third-party resources (API tokens) on your behalf, and that usage of these features during a billing period constitutes delivered value that cannot be reversed.

The Service enforces rate limits to ensure fair access. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary throttling of your requests.
Price data is aggregated from third-party sources and may not always be accurate or up to date. SkinMetrics does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any pricing data. AI-generated suggestions are for informational purposes only and should not be considered financial advice.
The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by SkinMetrics. Game names, item names, and related trademarks belong to their respective owners (e.g., Valve Corporation for CS2 and Dota 2).
SkinMetrics is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any losses arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to financial losses from trading decisions made based on data or suggestions provided by the Service.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the settings page.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
